I believe the point is that some artists allow "the sermon" to overtake "the music". You acknowledge Streisand's ridiculous mid-concert rant (at least, I think so), but where to draw the line? What's more important to Bono these days, music or politics? Has he lost sight of exactly what gained him the fame/celebrity/visibility that he enjoys?
