Oh the dilemma! I can imagine people spending …nanoseconds agonising over their lost humanity ;-) If opponents are built on the assumption that you will be "enhanced" it seems rather stupid to expect people to play at a big disadvantge (and no doubt die frequently) by not taking them. Sure, if there had some compensatory feats etc (not just "towards the end of the game") then that would make sense. Unless they're targeting masochists of course. Sounds like they're trying to ape a real RPG
