dtp also mentioned the international release date in a PR about Drakensang's chart success. No need to repeat yesterday's news. Here's just the relevant piece:

Drakensang: The Dark Eye has been published in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on August 1st, 2008. Internationally, Drakensang will be released in Q1 2009 in several languages.
