I like the slow pace of the combat (as in there is no button mashing scoring 1000000 hits per second with flashing lights).
I understand the strategic aspect which is similar to Mars: War Logs and Witcher 2 (i.e. roll over to evade (blocking) enemies to hit them from their open spots). But hiting, again, only involves probably pressing the same button to go through the sequence of attack animations - there is no freedom in choosing the direction of attack using, for example, the direction keys. Probably a limitation imposed by consoles and using gamepads.
