Yes, I also believe that the "disappointment factors" has something to do with that "Great Hype".

I voted for Borderlands myself. I mean, what's with all these guns, the first person view, and the realtime combat? I know a lot of people like that, but it's just not my cup of tea. This game was supposed to be a first person shooter, and this is what they deliver. Total disappointment.
