Steam announces that today's daily deal is Agarest: Generations of War.

At the dawn of time, a terrible war raged between the forces of good and evil, ending in the destruction of the world of Agarest. After their victory, the Gods of Light unified the decaying bodies of the Gods of Darkness and created a new world.

Now, the forces of darkness are awakening once again…

• Choose the path of Darkness or Light through a truly epic story, spanning multiple generations
• Battle hundreds of different creatures using an array of character abilities, in a compelling and innovative turn-based combat system
• Build your ultimate army of warriors and master Extra Skills, Special Arts and Over Kills to defeat colossal enemies!
• Unite with your chosen heroine and use the “Soul Breed” system to shape the fate of the next generation of heroes
More information.

I forgot to mention the game has 29 DLC packs. You can ignore most of them as their nothing but weapon, armor, and game cheats. :wow:

The developer Ghostlight is also going to release the prequel called Agarest: Generations of War Zero on Steam in the next few months.

Now I know many here wont like these games. The only way I see anyone enjoying them is if your a fan of JRPG/Strategy Games. ;)

The reviews (what few there are) ain't good for this one but it's probably the only strategy RPG/dating sim hybrid in this hemisphere.

I would buy it since I always like to try new stuff, if there wasn't so many cashgrab DLC included.
But I can't and won't ever support such stuff. If you want to make more (of a game or of money), make a sequel or prequel. So, no buy from me even if they give it away for free.

Well the funny thing about the DLC Joxer it's already in the game. You just activate it when you purchase it.;) As I said before they are all just cosmetics and cheats.
