Here is an example why iPad can handle complex PC games

Well for instance Imperium Galactica 2, Frozen Synapse, and Baldurs Gate are just as complex as Witcher. Baldurs Gate may be moreso because of all the rulesand rolls from D&D 2. You have toknow the AC levels, rolls, damages done, how to level. Up sinceit takes so long, etc. its quite complicated if you actually want to learn the game or beat it with a hard class. Also, the iPad has Ascendency which seems wuite complicated as well as Battle of the Bulge. Basically it has got more complex games than the 3ds or vita and even some consoles like the wii and wii u.

Ithink a game that would really work on the iPad would be shenmue but just with the tap sections where you have tomatch buttons and directions. No freedighting just freewalking around and doing the qte scenes. It could still tell a great story and be a great game.

Um ... no.

They are ALL ports of PC games. Frozen Synapse is relatively recent, but the other two are OLD games.

Complexity comes from many sources - but let us be very, very clear: we are talking about delivering not just a complex rule-set (along with 1998 gaming), but a thoroughly MODERN gaming experience.

Yeah, well there are games I play annually or every other year, and things like KotOR are amongst them … So I would definitely give it a go on iPad. But I totally get what you are saying, and there is a huge difference between good ports and real innovation of nontrivial games.
