I imagine traffic on the site would have to increase significantly for something like a chatroom to work. I prefer message boards myself, but given the level of maturity and civility found on RPGWatch, it probably wouldn't be uninteresting to occasionally discuss RPGs in real time.

In my experience adding a chat is a great way to build a community. You need a certain level on the members though, but this forum would have no problem with that.
