Political and politically incorrect humor

That's shocking, really. To think one could get stuck as an unskilled worker for the rest of your life just because you had a bad test day. Terrible.

And I thought the US system was bad.

Well, you are not "stuck" as such - because you can get additional training. Either by yourself (costs must be covered by yourself) or by the so-called "job centers", the former "Arbeitsamt" (dict.leo.org translates it as an "exployment bureau", its a government thing on federal state basis).

The scary part is Germany is the country doing best by far among the big economies in the EU.

The worst problem are the small wages. Employees just don't participate in the strong economy not that much anymore. Because being suupported by the politicians which had been convinced by the industry that bigger wages are bad for the economy (and they COULD convince them during the last decade, especially when Germany's economy was doing bad in for several years within the last decade) the overall wages have been cut a bit - the unions agreed not to ask for too high wages - and the so-called "Leiharbeit" spread like mushrooms. Dict.leo.org translates this as "labour leasing". Minimum wages, short-time employment, the indistry is having a good time. Because this "labour leasing" replaced in a lot of cases full employment - for lesser wages. "Leased" people too often do almost exactly the same work - but for much, much lesser wages and not much job assurance anymore.

The German economy is strong, because the wages are small. Smaller than they could and imho should be.

But regardless : The inland economy is currently flourishing as well - and no-one understands why.

Replace Obama with any leading politician and the opposite fringe will find it funny and true.

Wouldn't argue that point for a second. Don't think you even have to limit it to "fringe".

Time finally rebounds with a bumper crop. I expect the second one will be popular with some of our Euro friends here.

Replace Obama with any Bankster, and any European would wholeheartedly agree.

Why people think Obama is spending too much money? From what I have read/heard Bush spend more than any other us president yet you don't hear about that.

Obama has already added slightly more to the national debt in his 3 years than Dubya (who certainly spent like a drunken sailor) added during his entire 8 year run.

Adding to the debt is different than spending money. My how you like to twist things. It's more correct to blame the debt problem on Bush's ongoing tax breaks and 2 ongoing unpaid for wars, and the shitty economy handed to Obama from 8 years of Bush leadership and a Republican dominated Congress.

Well, there's the fact that in order to stop the wars he has to convince congress stopping the wars is what we ought to do.

The psychological term for this is "splitting". Splitting means that you only have good and evil. This was actually the line of thinking in Russia where you had to make a revolution, where as western Europe used reforms to balance capitalism and socialism since neither capitalism or communism seemed to work.
