Gothic 3 Dan's Slave in Montera

I got the quest to return Dan's and the orc smith's slaves to the slave trader. I'm given the option of having them follow me. There's no clue where I can take them other than back to the trader. Is there somewhere else I can take them? I have a 77 rep with Montera, so I don't need the rep points.

Yes, back to Sobota, there's only reputation increase with the hashishin (+1) for this quest.

Opening varying dialogues would have enabled Dan to say "you can have my slave if you defeat me in the arena" (or similar)
