This is weird.
I was watching a TV show last night that was discussing the chances of Earth being struck by a meteor. They identified one in particular that scientists know will come close, one that would definitely cause a catastrophe if it struck. It will happen on my birthday (April 13) about 25 years from now.
Weirder still, it's going to swing back around again exactly ten years after that -- also on my birthday.

Don't worry, Corwin. If we are still around in 25 years to be comet-ized into oblivion, we'll be so old that it will be a Kevorkian-like euthanasia.

Thanks, Khass! I'll try to remember that and keep it in mind on both of those days. If the meteor does hit, then maybe I'll be able to find at least some small measure of satisfaction, hoarding all of my wonderful presents somewhere, and imagining all of yours going unopened!... you may still get to celebrate, but I won't even get to die holding my presents.
