Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Kickstarter?

Too risky for the corporate investors.

I like the idea of the combat calculations and think it would go very well in a combat heavy RPG. However, suits think/know that most people just want to click, see flashes, hear sounds, count the numbers then congratulate themselves on being such a bad ass.

If only because they're unafraid to potentially scare people off with such a system I'd insta-back this when its KS launches (though my wallet tells me I really shouldn't).

Nothing wrong in trying innovative work that does not only involve button mashing, and Dark Souls and Mount and Blade are very good examples that were well recieved.

The only question is what this venture brings new to the table that was not done before, or done properly at the expense of ambitious hardware (Cryengine with physics - how many NPC can you have at once on screen, and what about the AI for singleplayer?).

For this genre, everyone is waiting for Mount and Blade: Bannerlords which is built on a very strong foundation and experience.

It looks more like a Mount & Blade clone than anything.
If that's true, I'm not buying/pledging this one.
Will wait for the official word on it.
