Political and politically incorrect humor

Looks like one more liberty down in the land of the free ;)

As poor as our education system is and as large as are waist lines have been getting, we can at least take some solace in knowing that things as large as assault rifles do not yet have to be classified as choking hazards.

Must be a year-end rut.

Varvel got a decent one with his "fill in the bubble" cartoon:

The last one is very true and very sad at the same time. It should imho perhaps rather have a donkey (?) instead of Obama depicted.

And it also shows how kind of selfish the parties have become : They do as if they have the citizens in mind (with their actions), where in fact they don't act so.

USA not building Death Star.

More than 34.000 people petitioned for the U.S. government to build a Death Star in order to create jobs and strengthen the national defense . Apparently, that's not going to happen. Bummer.

I find the second one a bit on the tasteless side, and I'm sort of surprised Time even printed it.

I like the hockey one.

I liked the store one and the last one.
I doubt you're understanding the intent of that last one. The 1st and 3rd play rather loose with the facts, but they're well done and I do make an effort to be an equal opportunity "re-poster".

I actually didn't get the 1st and 3rd ones.

I'm assuming the intent is that gun control people - the ones you call "they" - are saying that it's worth banning guns if it even saves one life. So it's making fun of that, since dressing someone up into that cartoon would save at least one life. Is that not what it meant ?

1st one - might help if I tell you those are mirrors around the NRA guy?
3rd one - stereotypical kidnapper's ransom note, Bo is Obummer's dog, so response to "end the hostage taking" is a hostage taking.
4th one - you're closer than I thought, it's something like "By that ridiculous logic..."
