I'll start this topic with a salute to Little Fluffy Clouds for the original Boiling Point Mission Guide at Xenus-HQ, which unbelievably has been lost for all time.

Mission Guides is still an active thread at the DeepShadows forum, but long term survival is more likely here at RPG Watch.

More guides are needed, so your help in expanding the list is actively sought.
We'll do our best to keep it in an easily searchable format.
WARNING: This topic contains *SPOILERS*.

Format would be:

All help from the community is appreciated.
Posts will be incorporated into the MAIN MISSIONS and seven faction lists at the front end of this topic.
All contributions will be acknowledged.

Guerrilla missions

Faction: Government / Guerrillas
Given By: Army Captain / Commandante Bernadito
Island: Espada
Mission: Talk to Army Captain and Commandante at the Rino Garage to get missions.
Description: The conversations are meant to be mutually exclusive - that is: if you take the Captain's mission, the Commandante will not speak to you, and vice versa. All you have to do is speak to each of them, but do not accept their respective missions. Take the choice to "Think about it", or to "Get back to them later". Then return to the Army Captain and accept his - and then the Commandante, who will now offer you his.
Reward: This way you get both sets of missions.

Mafia missions

Faction: Mafia
Given by: Mafia Fighter
Island: Espada(the island you start of from)
Mission: Bring Mafia Fighter Ten doses of snow(cocaine)
Description:On first island when you are another side of island there is a bit bigger village when you walk around you should see church over the road is an garage with two mafia soldiers guarding it go in and talk with Mafia fighter who then gives you mission to get him drugs.
Notes:You can find drug off from dead corpses so keep your eyes open when there are firefights with factions just look the show and loot dead bodies.
Reward: You get car key (the car is in garage)
Submitted by: Anders

Faction: Mafia
Given by: Don Guillermo
Island: Ballena
Mission: Escort missing convoy to the Mafia Airfield on Ballena.
Description: Don Guillermo asks you to prove yourself reliable by dealing with a couple of Bandits annoying the citizens outside the bar. You get advice from Jamieson to resolve this peacefully. On return to Don Guillermo he gives you the more important mission of locating a convoy transporting Cuban cigars. You find the convoy under attack from the Guerrillas.
Kill all the Geurrillas. Be sure not to kill the Mafia driver or allow the trucks to be badly damaged.
Talk to the Mafia driver, get the keys, and drive the two trucks to the airfield.
Return to Don Guillermo.
Notes: Don Guillermo must be sitting by his rooftop pool when he gives this mission. If he is in his downstairs office, the mission will initiate but never complete.
Reward: 1250 (More I know, I'll have to update)

Faction: Mafia
Given by: Don Guillermo
Island: Ballena
Mission: Fake Bombing Coordinates
Description:
The army's last attempt to bomb Don Guillermo's cocaine plantations resulted in Gorrion City on Espada being bombed to the ground. This time they have better intelligence, and know the location of every single plant. Your mission is to steal the map coordinates from the Army base at the Castle, south of Ballena, and replace them with a false set of coordinates.
First, see Benissio the mafia's forger, in a village on the SE of Ballena. The on site marker is screwed, but you'll find him in one of the village huts. Benissio gives you an army uniform but is too drunk to forge your papers. Do the watermark, hologram, laminate the photo, and you have ID papers in the name of Pvte. Torres.
Travel to the Castle, find the jetty on the eastern side, then show your papers to the sentries at the gate. Find the papers on second floor of a building in the SW corner of the courtyard.
Return to Don Guillermo.
Notes: There are plenty of brand new weapons here for the taking: Uzis, AK_47s, Remington 870s.
There is a building remarkably like the one under construction at Pueblo Sombre (Boiling Point).
Reward: 1800 pesos.
EDIT: player1 tells me the papers are on the second floor of a building in the NW corner of the courtyard.

It's the same building that has general (at top floor), which you need to ask for one of the artifacts, in main quest. Papers are at first floor in one of the rooms, at the desk.

Faction: Mafia
Given by: Don Guillermo
Island: Ballena
Mission: Valuable Cargo
Description: Sebastien is Don Guillermo's harbour master.
Sebastien asks you to meet Isidoro on Casco Island to collect a cargo of cocaine. Casco is a large island east of Balleno, and is the Mafia's largest cocaine plantation. Isidora gives a boat key and you deliver a cargo of cocaine back to Sebastien.
Note: It is a long and boring boat trip, although if it is late afternoon you sail into a pretty sunset.
Reward: 600, +5 mafia relations

Faction: Mafia
Given by: Sebastien
Island: Ballena
Mission: Lost Statuette
Description: Sebastien is Don Guillermo's harbour master.
This mission is for Sebastien's benefit, and not the Don's.
Sebastien gives you the keys to a gunboat, so expect opposition from Bandits at the site of the shipwreck. My strategy was to sail straight at the three bandit boats with guns blazing, then keep going ahead while firing back at them as they chase. Worked for me!
Pick up the "Chia Bessan" statuette from beneath the shipwreck and return to Sebastien.
Note: The dive for a gold idol is bugged. You can exploit the bug by re-doing the mission.
Reward: 1300 pesos, +5 mafia relations

Cia missions

MISSION: CIA Freighter

NOTES:
Player1 "After some Indian cultist mission, I had prolong firefight on CIA
boat. After getting outside of ship deck and fighting on cargo section (on open),
I got 2nd objective (captain key), but had no widget key (1st objective), so I
was stuck and unable to get back to main part of the ship.

Help?

Even console command that would make me bypass this would be helpful.
(like spawning that damned "wicked key" - gg version name)."

wesp3 "That happened to me too! The first key is in the middle of the boat, in one of the sections filled with water. You need to return to an earlier saved game and get it. That is a very badly done level, because you can blow up the boxes near the gate and still will be stopped by invisible barriers! Sadly two console commands that would have helped and work with The Precursors do not work with White Gold."

player1 "Anyway, I did the replay, and found out why it's so easy to miss the key.

In the area inside ship, there is a small section, where is room with jukebox at left side. Door up front goes to interior cargo section, and if you do there without getting wicket key you will get stuck. There is also a door to the right, that is locked.

What you need to do is to go to room with jukebox, and at other wall there is another door to different ship section (very easy to miss). There you kill some guys, go small part underwater, and you'll get the key, and exit on other side (where locked door was).

See? Very easy to miss.

If it is possible in any way to edit this, I would recommend locking main front door with same key, to prevent player from progressing further without key, which will get them stuck."

player1 "I noticed that tank grenades do wonders against enemy infantry. They have huge blast radius, but AI doesn't handle that well, and never gets far enough in cover.

Unfortunately, they easily destroy most of wooden crates, so there is always danger of getting stuck (for example you need to climb on crates "as staircase", but you could destroy them with tank grenade). It's good to know, that this wasn't issue in my case, and that I just forgot key in section inside the ship (right before cargo area on open).

wesp5 "I hope we will figure out how to edit the maps themselves one fine day, but right now I can't even open them in the editor. The only working console commands that I found are ADDHEALTH and ADDARMOR, which should help you through any problems !"

Mission: Paparrazi
Description: Gary wants some pics of Jessica Riverson, a porn star filming on location at a small island east of Ballena. Talk to Jessica, take the photo and return to Gary.

I try and try, but can't find documents (no marker for help). Where exactly is this?
And how does location with papers look like, Is it some desk, locker, something else. Small room, big room?

Can't believe after waiting 2-3 weeks to get this quest line unstuck, that I'm stuck again...

Ok, I solved it. The things is that it's building in NW corner of the island, not SW.

It's the same building that has general (at top floor), which you need to ask for one of the artifacts, in main quest. Papers are at first floor in one of the rooms, at the desk.

Unless I'd overlook it, this mission / side-quest have not been mentioned yet so as it is a bit hard to find and requires the RPG/ Bazooka perk, if you dont have it than it will not appear at all.
When following the story line, most of players like me are choosing other perks to upgrade weight/ extended diving time etc, also you have to be in a specific location apart of the road and close to a cliff, least in my case.
Location- SE corner of Espada, leave the Guerrilla base and heading east, pass the bridge and cliff with the paramilitaries on top until reaching a ruin on the left side.
Leave the street and head along the cliff, out of the sudden a government heli so as 3 Bandits will appear inside the ruin, begging you to shoot-down the heli while also the mission is to kill the bandits.
Your choice, in front of the ruin there lies a RPG which also keeps on popping-up.
Keeping a good relation with the bandits helps quite well in the further progress on Balena so I took down the heli and increase my relats with them.
Note that when flying in a heli over this area, the mission will fail.
