The monsters are one of the most important key of Torchlight general quality. They have a very well diversified design, at exception of some mini boss. And it's not about graphics but about fights design to make it more interesting, more diversified, more deep.
But the price paid is Torchlight lack a bit of monsters diversity because they put time in designing each.
Hopefully the new monsters coming won't be just clones with new graphics but real new monsters improving this diversity when compared to the 1.
