Zombie flick "The Dead"

Anyone see "The Dead"? Zombie apocalypse in some war torn African country, they never really specify where. I really enjoyed this one. I like it when filmmakers put characters into a situation without explaination with survival as the only goal. Want answers? Want a backstory? Too bad! Survive that's it. A day in the life of a zombie apocalypse. Food, water, weapons and ammo. And people need to sleep... Zombies not so much. How do you meet these core needs? What else matters? Some might find it boring and it sure got mixed reviews but I loved it. Creepy movie.

It's was decent or even quite good interesting setting and from what i remember the acting was pretty solid. Nice ending too.

The African setting holds a lot of potential, but I never got into it due to the lack of any story. It's a simple road movie with zombies, that's it. No action to keep you awake, and no plot to get you thinking.

It had me thinking about how to survive. Where do you sleep was a good theme for the movie, with mixed results to say the least I love zombie flicks!

Dawn of the Dead (the original) was pretty good, in case you haven't seen it.
