Default The Witcher - Anniversary Trailer

October 30th, 2008, 21:27
Dag writes in to point out a one-year anniversary trailer for The Witcher that celebrates their recent 1-million copies announcement. The more interesting thing is the "And we're just getting started" message towards the end, followed by a fast sequence of images. It's hard to pick everything out but, presumably, we're seeing cinematic snips from a future Witcher title (and a shooter gets mixed in). I'll let you interpret and let us know in the comments.
More information.

Nice doggies and smth that looks like an earth elemental against the backdrop of the burning town and bodies on poles. Can't wait…

I guess the shooter is mixed in for marketing purposes only.

Shooter is the game called THEY, it's being developed by Metropolis which was bought lately by CDProjekt. It has nothing to do with The Witcher, besides that the Witcher team is helping them to write a good story for this FPS.

Oh, Geralt shirtless and dripping.

His hair looks a little strange, though, both in the cinematic and the ingame shot.

I saw it "worked" even for some female fans at the official boards. Does this mean the designers are going even beyond that stupid softcore porn cards?

What, does that mean Geralt's next conquest will be Dandelion? (There're many women who get off on hot man-on-man action, that is.)

I don't think there's enough women working at CD Projekt to *ever* make that a possiblity. At least I hope not.
