I'm on, and I think JM and Peter are up as well, since I've spoken with them (we're all in game now in a HoX run).

Yesterday I found out that the own characters reputation seems to go up if one does already finished quests a second time - only at a harder level.
I'm currently replaying the Korthos Island quests on hard, and after that on elite.
I also found out that if one is buffed up through the shrines and whatnot from the guild ship, one can do level 5 quests with self having level 4 quite good. Well, it partly depends on the structure of the quest as well, but roaming through the House Denaith (spelling ?) sewers was a good challenge.

This build is focused on high DCs in enchantment and in necromancy; as well as being able to switch between Archmage or Pale Master as desired.

Given the need for a trap-capable character, I've been working on a plan for a build. This would require trading my two GS Khopeshes in for a Greataxe, but I believe that I'll be fine there. I can use the profit from selling the two khopeshes and buy mats needed to help finish a tier III GS LitII axe. This will of course mean needing an sp item.
This particular build is a 16/2/2 Warchanter Bard build. Half-Elf, because I like the race, and low-30's reflex on a dex-dumped Bard is nice. Particularly with Evasion.
- A +6 CHA item will add 2 more to all my saves; I didn't bother with gear. So it's 16fort, 17reflex, 14will. FoM covers most Will saves, GH boosts everything by 4, and I have a Resistance 4 cloak, as well as my Parasitic Breastplate with the +10 Reflex, for a self-buffed total of 24 Fort, 31 Reflex, 22 Will. Hanging around Peter's Paladin will add at least one to that, more if he invests in pally aura saves bonus.
- My current gear layout adds 155hp to the total, for 465hp unbuffed. Rage and ship bring that to 505. Argo favor 515.
- SP is short, so it will be primarily used for rage and haste and GH and blur. However, in a spot I'll have quicken, maximize, and both cure masses so I can for a short while heal a group.
- This is a DPS build, built to buff and fight mostly. However, she has full ranks in spot, disable, and search, and with gear should be as capable as my Exploiter build is currently.
- It really only starts coming together around level 12. Once I have evasion, and my GS, and
- Max ranks in UMD for heal scrolls, three tiers of wand and scroll mastery for scroll healing. Gotta make an SP/CHA skills item. UMD should sit around 37 at cap, before GS item. 23 + 6 (cha mod) + 1 (VotM) + 4 (GH) + 3 (Cartouche).
- Maxed out Bard songs, all Damage, attack, and lingering enhancements, as well as a couple bravery ones for WCII.
- Still have my Healing Amp! Still want Levik's bracers out of Hound, as this character will likely not have the sp to rely on maximized cures.
The biggest issue I have is the loss of time and effort from crafting two GS blank khopeshes. I've not equipped them so they are still unbound. I need to price them, first. GS Greataxe was up for 650,000 plat; I believe I can get at least as much for each 'Pesh.
On the other hand, going THF means I have half the material requirements for my weapons, and can more readily afford a second accessory. I don't even need a GS CHA skills item that much, as 37UMD is enough for reliable raise and heal scrolls, and can swing wands of resist energy level 11, teleport scrolls, and so forth. So this is a very self-sufficient build, and capable of pulling two roles full time like my current Fireflash, and for emergencies capable of healing, also like Fireflash the Exploiter.
This is if we need a trap-capable character. Early on it will be rougher, as I don't have the low level gear, and won't have evasion for some time. Mid levels is where she starts to shine, and at high level I'll probably have to go anon like Aerii and Mirys have done as divines.

My ranger can do a search; however, he is very limited in that, since I made the mistake of not putting enough points into his intelligence. I deeply regret that, especially since he cannot find hidden doors anymore (except in earlier "adventures"). In a few cases I could even see a writing "on" the wall (well, slightly behind it, in fact), but my character just couldn't find that BEEEEEP door …
Is there a way to export the character's stats like this ?
And, is there a way to see *all* of the checks in the chat window ? I'm very much interested in seeing detecting hidden doors checks …
And why a few levers (?) give me a message of "your wisdom is not high enough" or "your intelligence is not high enough", vice versa. This happens really, really rarely, but I did notice this a few times. Are there corresponding checks ?
And last - is there way to report minor bugs ? I have found a few translating issues …
There are a few things I still don't quite understand :
- I did The Lair Of Summoning two days ago. At one point, one must fight ice mephs, and there is a chest thre, too. I assume this should be available as a "bounty" for destroying them, but it jut doesn't get open. Do I need the ability to open mechanisms or so ?
- On the "beginner's island", there's the "Necromancer's Doom". What I don't understand is that you either get the possibility to rescue the maiden fair, or get the treasure, but not both. If I rescue her, I just cannot get to the chest. Is this intentional or a bug ?
This is what comes to my mind right now.
Edit : Do I have to create a new account for the forums if I want to go into he DDO forums ?

I used a 3rd party tool called the DDO Character builder to make that, and many other, builds.
Lair of Summoning I think you need open lock to get that chest. It's optional actually, I usually skipped it.
You need to put every point into search, and carry a search item that boosts your skill as well. I even carry a +6 INT ring, as Search and disable are INT skills.
You can get the chest in Necromancer's Doom. There's three actually, one hidden, one hidden and with a tough for the level boss. The girl is the main objective, and you have to save her to complete the quest.
Some runes or levers require a minimum of one stat or another to open. This is to encourage grouping. You'll see that throughout the game, regardless of what you play.
There is a die roll that shows whenever you make a roll, for whatever reason. But other than that I don't know about making info show up in chat. Check your UI settings.

Yes, you can myddo everyone, however it doesn't always work right. Some characters show the wrong stats, or never update, or don't show at all.

Yes, I'll do that.
I did some questing with Cm, She showed me basically how to work in/with a group, quest sharing and so on.
With her help I've got enough favour with the Coin Lords so that've got my "4th bag" now - and a level-up as well !
But now it's late, and I need some sleep. It's exactly a quarter past 2 in the night here now.

Here are my new TR'ed builds:
Please give me some comments
Karl Peter Aspenstein. Warforged paladin 34-pt build
My paladin is going with two handed weapon with greatsword. He's a dps paladin with immunities and resistances in addition to a great deal of hitpoints. He will not be a tank, but very durable in fights. Charisma is not great, but still enough to get divine might IV for 8 extra damage per attack. Power attack will do 16 extra damage so this paladin will do a lot of damage, especially against evil outsiders. His main weapon will be a greensteel greatsword with holy, acid burst and mineral II with +2 exceptional constitution.

Rolf Peter Manstein. Dwarven cleric 34-pt build
My cleric will primarily be a healer, but will also do some damage with spells. He doesn't intend to be a melee kind of cleric so strength is rather low. His main weapon will be a greensteel dwarven waraxe with holy, +1 and +2 exceptional wisdom. He's not great at turning undead either, but can do something. Turns are mainly for radiant burst and radiant aura

If you come across a lever that requires a certain amount in a stat try having your hireling do it. A cleric works for wisdom based levers and probably a Wizard would work for intelligence based levers.

Peter, why are you taking force of personality on a Paladin? You already get your CHA mod to your saves. Extend would give you more bang out of your short-term buffs for the sp cost.
How are you getting the 20CHA for DMIV? Items and enhancements don't count towards this total; only base, level ups, and tomes do. The best a WF can do without putting two points into CHA from level up is get a +4 CHA tome… which is extremely rare drop out of only the toughest raids. Raids that none of us have ever entered, and in fact only two characters in the guild are even flagged for one of them.
Also, why LoB? You get a free 1000pt heal out of Sov Host.
Corwin, that build is a Pale Master in it's posted form, though it is designed to be switched easily between PM and AM. AMV gives a total of 400sp, and a Archmagi item gives another 200. There's 600sp right there, and that's ignoring the fact that you probably too Improved Mental Toughness (105sp) that this build did not. On top of that, there's a +6 INT item that will boost sp further.
This is a DC-based build, not a nuking build like yours. The focus is on either instant-kills (Wail, FoD, CoD), or crowd control. It does both well.

(Why didn't I think of it myself ?
)Edit : Sometimes, things are so small it's easy to overlook them …
When looking at the character screen, the one which shows which items the character wars, one can click on the head area to let the glasses be displayed at the character's model itself. There's also a chat command for that, but it works seemingly only for the glasses.
I have never seen it. I think Corwin pointed me to it several weeks ago, but I did not realize it. Plus, the room/space where one has to click into is so incredibly small it is almost "pixel hunting".
But what I found out that one can click into this area (tthe head area, to be exact) to let the headdress appear as well ! Now th9s is the secret ! I had thought that it was a bug that hats aren't properly displayed anymore since update 11, but I found out that hats or any kind of headdress ARE properly displayed - one just needs to switch the display on !
There is no option for that in the options menu; at least I couldn't find any.
Second, the same is true for what's called "embellishment", I think. If one clicks into the body area - like with the head area once ot twice - the full armor is being displayed, too. Don't know what the "embellishment" exactly means, since I think that this can only be bought (I found a special kind of vendor for that, I think it was in some armory) via the DDO shop.
I'm not sure about it, but there are three "click states" with the head now :
1 no display at all (no headdress + no glasses)
2 glasses only
3 headdress + glasses
I'm not sure about the armor as well. Since I didn't find any way the cape is displayed, I'm not surprised if there is another way of turning its display on which I have overlooked.

LoB was also part of the build, but probably meant for a character who would tank. I saw the weapon type was greatsword and though +1 to hit was good (similar to weapon focus). I didn't like the advanced one though. Even though you get +4 to some stats you can't cast spells or be healed. I don't use Unyielding sovereignty much, but maybe I will more often on my WF. So I made the swap and will se how it goes. I can easily reset enhancements if I like to.
I get the DM IV by starting with 16 cha (actually maxing to 18 and then -2 due to being WF). Then I add a +2 tome at level 7 and I use level 16 and level 20 attribute add to add +1 to cha. That equals 20. If I get a +3 tome I will probably use level 20 for +1 str instead.
I feel that with this build I don't notice the -2 to cha that much. -2 to wis will hurt a bit, but I only need 14 to cast all spells. So I will only be able to cast spells once I can use a +3 or better wis item. I get that from 6 (start) and then +2 tome and +6 item. So I all lose is -1 to will saves, but I gain +2 con and a lot of immunities.
My build is very dependent upon getting the +2 supreme tome (+2 to all stats). So I feel that building a WF paladin is probably only good if you use a TR with 34-pt and tomes.

@alrik:
/showhelmet on
/showhelmet off
I expect there's a /showgoggles as well, but I've never tried it to be sure. Most of us run helmet off since the models are kinda ugly and we'd rather show off the face/hair we chose.

"/showgoggles" (translated) is there, definitively, but not "/showhelmet" (translated) - at least not in my UI.
My whole client is in my own language - including all chat commands !
Edit : Or I just haven't found it so far.
