Dragon Knight Saga Completion: Character Honour Thread
February 19th, 2012, 10:33
Greetings Watchers
Similar to the sister thread located here http://www.rpgwatch.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14252 for Divine Divinity, I thought after completing the Dragon Knight Saga that it would be a good bit of fun to record characters who have beaten the game for posterity. Thus, without further adieu:
Name:
Vigamortis
Class:
Mage
Level 45
xp: 3174538
HP: 920
Mana: 1085
Vitality: 73
Spirit: 100
Strength: 17
Dexterity: 32
Intelligence: 100
Main weapon: 58-92
Melee Resistance: 43.18 %
Ranged Resistance: 38.84 %
Magic Resistance: 54.68 %
Conditioned Body: 17 %
Heightened Reflexes: 35 %
Skills used:
Magic Missile (15)
Fireball (15)
Firewall (15) +2
Magic Blast: 11
Destruction: 8
Healing: 10
Evade: 5
Since more players arguably would have finished the DKS than DD, I expect to see more characters here!

Never bothered to try to be honest - try the usual suspects or check the controls menu. (I've since uninstalled)

Ok.. figured out that I had to disable the Aero theme on my Windows 7 desktop in order to take screens in DKS.
Here's the character I finished with.

Finally finished as well. I have included screenshots of my end stats of ED and of FoV.
Ego Draconis took me ~46 hours and I reached level 36 and Flames of Vengeance was another ~13 hours (on "hard") while reaching level 46. I chose to side with Bellegar for the grand finale. Good fun all around.
As for skills this was my final build (respecced twice during the whole game) which turned out to be a bulldozer build
and a really good mix of combat and utility abilities.
In spite of the hard difficulty level it was really pretty easy throughout the final 25 - 30% of Ego Draconis and FoV was a walk in the park with the exception of the Zeppelin escort and the final boss fight (but that's why they call it a boss fight, right?
).
- Magic Missile 15/15
- Fireball 15/15
- Mana Efficiency 15/15
- Confusion 8/9
- Mana Leech +1
- Destruction 8/8
- Firewall 15/15
- Healing 15/15
- Way of the Battle Mage 5/15
- Charm +5
- Hide in Shadows +1
- Regenerate 10/10
- Death Blow 15/15
- Reflect 2/13
- Lockpick 7/7
- Dual Wield 13/13
- Wisdom 15/15
- Mind Reading 5/5

Rats - I uninstalled the game or I would check. I've still got lots of screenshots, though!

Woah! Some pretty crazy psychedelic images there Zloth.
Can you recall any interesting details about your character build or strategies to win the final fight? That would make a nice addition to your images.
It's good that we've got a couple more characters though.
