Path of exile any good?

Hi I registared for path of exile and waiting for beta key. I was wandering is it good what is action like compared to other ARPGs(I played nearly all ARPGs since first diablo except diablo 3 which I don't intend to buy for several reasons but that is another topic)I read some previews but I am more intereted in players opinions.Character development and skill system sounds very good on paper but what it's like in practise
