Dark Souls - DSfix v1.0 Released

DSfix v1.0 has been released, bringing a number of improvements to Dark Souls since we last looked at it. This latest version adds fully configurable keys and integrated SSAO but previous versions added features such as save-game backups, HUD-less screenshots, intro skipping and more.

I don't know what SSAO or SMAA is so I have no idea what most of this fix is about.

I've no idea about SMAA other than it's some new type of anti-aliasing.

Speaking of this plugin, there's already a 1.1 but it looks like releases are going to slow down.
1.1 is supposed to re-implement a DOF filter on distant terrain so it retains the blur effect the original game has, but without the pixelation. I have to say, despite still failing to get into this game, he's made it look extra pretty:
