I'm from the US and in my case, I had never heard of her before this, either.

I'm not much into recycling or protecting the environment, etc., so I was rather surprised to see apparently I agree with Jill Stein on 89% of issues and Gary Johnson 88% both more than either Obama or Romney.

I think he's Libertarian - hadn't heard of him before either, but after watching his video, I definitely agree with his positions on some of these issues.

^Yeah, de-facto 2-party system kind of sucks because of that.

most people are, they just won't vote that way for some reason.

I came out strongly libertarian, which is how I planned to vote anyway.

This forum seems to lean for neither of the two major parties

RPGWatch favorite Jill Stein was arrested while trying to force her way into the debate a couple nights ago.

Larry King has scheduled an internet-only debate with the "also-rans" that made this test's list so they get a chance to have their say.

I like everyone equally well (except libertarian).

I followed her AMA in reddit few weeks ago , she is the most "European" of the candidates, no idea who the guy in 2nd place is.

A shame that, due to the antiquated Electoral College and two party system, none of this matters:


Caught this article and thought it relevant:

"They haven't made any headway because when Americans are polarised they don't like a third-party candidate.

"They hate the other side so much they're not going to waste their vote. We've been trained to think of our system as two-party and we're wasting our vote if we cast it for another candidate. That's how most Americans think."

Romney was slightly ahead of Virgil Goode, but I wouldn't vote for Romney. Johnson came out pretty high too, but I'd never vote for him due to his positions on illegal immigration. As expected, I really side most with Virgil Goode and will be voting for him, even though I know he won't win.

Well, since the results are in, here's how it would have turned out for the Watch:

1. Jill Stein (12 votes; 44.4%)
2. Gary Johnson (6 votes; 22.2%)
3. Mitt Romney (5 votes; 18.5%)
4. Barack Obama (3 votes; 11.1%)
5. Virgil Goode (1 vote; 3.7%)

Almost nothing. I think Gary Johnson got 0.9%
