Yeah, the Rogue was astonishingly slow … I was always surprised that she didn't die so close to the traps ? Expanded evasion ? lol
And what was the name of your Fighter hireling who wielded a weapon which was chaotic meanwhile he was lawful instead ? (Or was it vice versa ?)

Well, my Cleric is now level 9.
That wouldn't have been possible without the mentioned Tangleroot run - and a PUG (the same which later did Tangleroot with me) doing the last part of Necro 1 with me - on elite difficulty. (This was my very first real "healing escort" job, so to say. In fact, my help was needed, as the Barbarian got hit by all of these undead ones, too [with me being able to turn/destroy a part of them away] . )- But, alas ! , I wasn't flagged !
So, today I ventured into the Tomb Of The Sanguine Heart and with this got my last quest resolved - now I'm *finally* flagged for confronting Brother Salasso !
"Dear Brother Salasso, now I will go on your nerves. In fact, I will go SO MUCH on your nerves that you will WISH you were DEAD !"
So, this means to me that I need to get through it if finishing Necro1 is required for playing Necro2.
Aside from all of this, I'm working on Kundarak Favour, too. I (read : my Cleric) really need to get more bank space now.
And finally : With level 9 this is the very first time that I'm able to resurrect someone ! Rejoice !
- I've already bought spell components for that.

Congrats! If I get a chance we can do some K favor quests if you don't beat me and get done first. lol I need to get that space as well.
You could possibly run your cleric Friday as we will have to split into 2 groups if all can play.

Looks like their server took a big poo. About 5 minutes now and it's still kaput. Could be bad for us.

That was the one good thing about NWN; we didn't need an outside server, one of us could always host the game.

Turbine question of the week :
Of course they are most afraid, of me, the ham-fisted Cleric, going on their nerves !
And going on their nerves I will !
Just swinging around a little bit with my clubs and my kamas, just showing my kopesh (and not telling them that I'm not proficient with them at all !) - A little scratch of bone here, a small tearing into the unflesh of the zombies …. Cutting off a leg here and turning a wight there … Soon they begin to tremble as my deeds become rumor within the undead community !
Today, I just stepped before Brother Salasso, and i said to him : "Now, Brother Salasso, I will go on your nerves. In fact, I will go so much on your nerves that you will WISH that you were DEAD !"
Of course he kneeled down before me, begged for mercy, but didn't remember anymore where his heart was, that fool ! After further going on his nerves by swinging around my hob-nailed weapons, he finally remembered ! He then showed me the way, directing me to his very heart of hearts !
As soon as I touched it, he gave in to death, with a sigh of relief.
Now that's a cleric work-force as it should be !
Undead can cower in fear (with a successful Turn Undead, for example) which begs the question: What are they most afraid of, and why?My reply to it :

Okay, seems we got a few levelups yesterday.
Phuury - 20
Harakadaram - 10
Who else ?
I found the Shadow chain (Necro2) a bit dull - coplour-wise. I really began to miss colours at one point. Means that I still prefer Necro1 over Necro2 because of that.
What I still don't quite understand is the term "Umbral Worg" etc. … Does this mean "being from Umbra" ? If so, is Umbra a realm, then ? Or is it referring to the beast's colour ?
So far I only knew the colour of Umbra : http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umbra_%28Farbe%29
My recurring DDO Store report :
Heal Potions and Spell Point Point Potions are 25 % off, too …
As is an "name change parchment", Veteran status and 32 points build …

Umbral is a template, referring to their specific type. They actually count, Monster Manual-wise, as Worgs and Monstrous Humanoids respectively. They're just wraith versions of their base types.
As I said, Dreaming Dark is a fun pack, but is level 19-20, so you may want to wait on it if you're scrimping on points. I do recommend it though.

I have accumulated quite a lot of points over the last few weeks due to hitting so many favour marks with my different chars - plus I had some points left from my last card.
I'll decide within the next days, but I'm indeed leaning towards buying it.
Only problem is that I wouldn't have its "prequel" the "Path To Inspiration" yet …

There is really not enough quests, etc for the high levels. The 2 IQ packs Path and Dreaming are possibly 2 of the best in the entire game; they certainly rank in my top 5 (as a set).

Yep. Inspired Quarters is also a great pack, level 18 though. Again, highly recommended.
Hopefully the U16 pack will add a few more 17+ quests, and this time with decent xp and better design. Do not buy Druid's Deep, unless there's a free 500tp off coupon or something. I used a 250tp off coupon, and points earned from favor, and still felt ripped off on that one. It's boring, and has horrifically low heroic xp and drop rates for named items, and a badly-designed end fight.
Has everyone reached 11 yet on the TR characters? I think Corwin said he was holding, Peter has taken both his to 11, JM and CM are also 11, and for mine, Mr Pump is 11, nearly 12, and Aneira is holding 11. Mostly, I think it's Alrik, Dte and Reywind's characters, though Alrik's not as critical since his are all first lifers like mine.
JM, CM, Peter, and me ran through Necro II and VoN flagging quests for Pump, very nearly getting to level 12 from just into level 10. I'll probably go and hit Ataraxia tomorrow or during the week to get into 12, then hold it and focus on Aneira.

Haven't taken 11 yet; there's still a lot of good level 8's I haven't done in ages. Need to do Shadow Crypt as well. I doubt I'll be on at all this week till Friday.

Shadow Crypt is 9, so 11 works for that.
I still want to hit Xorian Cipher, for the GH clicky, since we have no real arcane running regularly. Most trap DCs are set up assuming a standardized party I think, and not having GH hurts there. Heroism pots help a bit, but still.
Dte, Alrik, and me still need VoN4, though that's level 9, as well as Shadow Crypt. So I think us 3 at least will split off for those quests. I'd suggest JM come as well, as those are some good XP quests, and she's a 3rd life. Afterwards, I'd suggest hitting Xorian Cipher, then, depending on time, Red Fens. VoN4 and Shadow Crypt won't take long, but I don't know Xorian Cipher hardly at all anymore. It might take awhile.
I guess after Red Fens, we hit (ugh) Threnal, since Dte is so determined to make everyone give him the same disdain and disgust normally reserved for used car salesmen, war criminals, and members of congress.
Once we take 12, I want to attempt a Tempest Spine run, which will be a full group run (raid). Then we can start hitting the Desert walk-ups, which are level 10. Hopefully, we can get to 14 on the third lifers before too-long, then hit Lordsmarch 1 and some stragglers to get to 15, where we pull into Gianthold. We need to be as far along into 15 as possible, if not holding 16, when we do the GH walkups.

There's an early preview of U16 on the don't-test-anything server.
A few highlights:
Siren's Song (Fatesinger ability) now has a recurring save every 3 seconds. Because obviously Bards are immensely over-powered compared to Wizards and Sorcs.
New offhand item called an orb. Caster-type item that is used somewhat like a shield.
They fixed Spellsong Vigor. It works on WF now.
New Epic Destiny, Primal Avatar, mostly for Druids and Rangers.
New Explorer and 5 quests.
