Nice. I just rolled a +16 spell points for my priest last level. However, my Warlock rolled a measly 3
. Since the bonuses were so nice for the other level ups I just saved it and continued. Hopefully next level he gains much more than that.
Really digging this game though. I just

Put in a half hour without reading the manual. Big mistake need to go back and read it. Made 3 guys to just go out quickly and look around. Ended up adding a magic user along the way. Heard some dogs I think I was supposed to rescue but couldn't find them because the screen was too small.
will have to lower screen res when I try to play it seriously. Found an Orc camp, rescued a baby from a dying Orc girl then got slaughtered in the middle of an Orc and goblin war.
Pretty productive 1/2 hour.

^ Hah. Yeah, it's definitely not "pick up and play" (how many of these older RPGs really are, though?) Took me quite awhile just to get my party configured how I want it. Restarted like 5 times, lol. Finally got a good group going though and will continue with this one. Once you get the hang of things it becomes a lot of fun. Still gotta be really careful because you can get your ass handed to you quick

When you level up, do unused spell selection points carry over if you don't use them all?

With their vitality and brawn, they make up for their minor weakness in agility with pure hitting power and they make decent spellslingers too.

I'm finding several things I missed in my first playthrough, which was very similar to Fluents. In other words, I screwed up till I figured how to play. This time, I'm killing demons and dragons with ease. A very powerful spell for low level enchanters is called

If you like Realmz, I'd *highly* suggest trying the Sword Lands trilogy, which is totally and utterly awesome. It features some of the most impressive instances of choices/consequences I've ever seen in a RPG (no, I'm not joking) - unfortunately, it requires registration (which isn't available anymore, since Fantasoft went the way of the dodo and the author hasn't got the rights to give away codes).

So… might I ask how you play it then?

You can play the first third, rjshae, just not the other two pieces. You can try it, you just can't finish it, unless there's a crack somewhere.

You need magical weapons, Fluent. I believe +1 will kill him the first time, but you might need +2 the next time you meet him. Go to the shop of the lady you rescued and she'll have magical weapons. You can use the crown to get out of the dungeon, temporarily, or just use the encounter button and speak home. I hope you're not fighting him in hopes of good loot. He's a rat
He's also not the main baddie you have to kill to get the reward from the inn. Thought I should add that….

One of the users who replied said that those files don't work and the game still asks for a serial.
