Default Themed characters

February 9th, 2013, 03:10
I got so into creating a cool story for my character I ended up downloading the creation kit and learning how to make my own race and make a few tweaks to the dogs in to the game. Part of the problem is most of the mods I were looking at were just way to overpowered. I wanted something well balanced, so I created the Nord Wolfmen race with the inherent ability to shape shift into a wolf-man form (different from the curse/blessing of Hircine). So far working very well. Added some perks as well as some cons and lots of fun to play something that feels really unique in the game.

Hopefully I won't get distracted though I was avoiding any modding as I know it can be a slippery slope until you end up modding more than you play the game Still if I get it polished enough I may toss it up on Nexus for kicks and as a way to return a little to the community.
