A decent, boxed copy of this game - and the original - go for about 100 bucks on eBay. I'm hoping a release on GOG, etc would shave a little off those prices.

Holy smokes! If this is true, I'll buy a spare copy from GOG just for the awesomeness of it, even if I have the discs of both System Shocks still safe and sound (and working). Keeping my fingers crossed.

Looks like I know what game I'll be (re)playing next. Texture pack highly recommended, hopefully no problems with GoG version.

I'd buy ten copies if the money ended up at the developers of the former Looking Glass Studios. Not a big fan of Ken Levine at Irrational - and I doubt even they are going to see anything from sales here.
