Doublepost, sorry.

Dunno why but I checked the Origin malware in my tray, but there is an ongoing sale there. Lasts two more days.
Most stuff is -50%, and among them is ME series so for example those who want ME Trilogy will pay 25€ instead of 50€ for it. Bioware points, needed to unlock ME DLC, are, again, NOT on sale.

Is that sale somehow connected to recent punkbuster bans, wouldn't know, really.

An adventure praised by players which is only 10€ on Steam next few days:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/205650/

Just as a curiosity, Spidergames (Mars:War Logs) was responsible to port this game on consoles:
http://www.spiders-games.com/games/t…herlock-holmes

And I couldn't miss to buy this one and can't wait to play it. Unluckily for me, tomorrow "pink" farcry3 is being released, god I hate when I have a few titles and can't choose which one to play first!

And Spoon, I refuse to buy anything from SquareENIX as long as they don't include Fullmetal Alchemist (both series and both movies) in the catalogue! Yes, that stuff is free to watch in many countries, but in mine not only it's not free but it's impossible to buy at all! Oh, and with the original voiceover (japanese) please, I dislike dubs.

Things from other countries as well ?

By the way, I don't even know of Mr. Schwarzenegger's Terminator voice is dubbed for Germany, too - his Austrian accent imho doesn't fit very good to any Terminator.

I'm trying my best to avoid dubbed movies. Dubbing cartoons for kids is understandable, but dubbing everything instead of subtitles just because ppl can't read is IMO rediculous.

Since you're asking, the last movie I've watched with german language was Das Weise Band (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1149362/ ). Can't imagine that dubbed voices instead of subtitles would "feel" right in that movie.

Two new bundles just went live:
Groupees 1C
Pay at least $1 to get
Ascension to the Throne (DRM free)
Men of War: Vietnam Special Edition (Steam
And if you pay more than $4 you will also get
Konung 3: Ties of the Dynasty (DRM free)
King's Bounty: Platinum Edition (contains King's Bounty: The Legend, Armoured Princess & Crossworlds) (Steam & GOG).
First unlock will be, at 2500 sold bundles:
Death Track Resurrection (probably steam)

A rather solid bundle, Ascension to the throne is alright if you are starved for SRPGs, Men of War Vietnam is really good, and the King's Bounty series is excellent. I have not played Konung 3, so I can't comment on it.

The second one is is a "build a bundle" style bundle, where you get to pick which games you want, at a low price for each individual game and is called the Build a Meridian 4 bundle
You get steam keys for all of the games. And the games are:
Larva Mortus
Penguins Arena: Sedna's World
Crash Time 2
Pacific Storm
Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes
Scratches: Director's Cut
Greed: Black Border
Space Trader: Merchant Marine
Shadowgrounds
Obulis
Vigil: Blood Bitterness
Tank Universal

and at 750 sold bundles, you will also get RIP Trilogy

Overall, a weaker bundle, even if there are more games in it. Scratches is a really good adventure game, and Shadowgrounds is one of the better isometric action games that I have played, but it has been in so many bundles that I'm almost drowning in Shadowgrounds keys. Grotesque tactics is rather shallow, which makes it an uninteresting SRPG. Can't comment on the other games, as I have not played them, but I've not seen any positive comments on any of them. Pacific storm looks like it might have potential, for those who enjoy sea battles and strategy games & Penguins Arena is apparently dead (it is a multiplayer game with no players).

Argh… 1) I'm still on the fence about UPlay 2) I don't really like Gamersgate; if I'm going to buy something digital, I'd prefer it be from Steam so I can keep digitial titles centralized in one library.

But, damnit, $12 is a great price…

The current "Gamestar" magazine comes with "Shatten über Riva", the third part of the NLT.
It also comes with The Next Big Thing, an rather unusual adventure game with usual graphics.

Some excellent games in those deals. I almost feel bad that I've already got the good ones.

Mass Effect 3 is $10 on GamersGate (activates on Origin) … if you use code 'elder-geek.com' you can get $0.50 off (no clue why, saw it on SlickDeals). So for $9.50 … that was low enough for me to finally buy.

Weeklong offer on Steam, -75% on a few titles.

The one that interests us as it's RPG is Avencast: Rise of the Mage. I've seen that game a few times, but since I never knew what was it about… Never bought it. But the price 2.24€ seems tempting. Anyone played this one?
http://store.steampowered.com/app/46410/

But more juicy offers for adventure lovers. Three adventures from Deck13 (Venetica) are on sale:
Jack Keane - 2.24€
Ankh 2: Heart of Osiris and Ankh 3: Battle of the Gods in duo pack - 3.37€
http://store.steampowered.com/news/10545/

I have all of them including Ankh 1 and can say they're all great. Not masterpieces though. Just so you know Jack Keane has a sequel that's not translated on english yet and I can't wait that to happen.

Sadly, Ankh 1 can't be bought on Steam at all, you need to search elsewhere.

Got it ages ago as part of an indie bundle. It is a 3rd person action/rpg/adventure game with decent graphics. It also looks like open world/dungeon, but I did not play it much as I struggled with the controls for movement and camera (I think it has 3 modes for novices and experts) and then gave up. Reviews seem decent though. I should give it another try sometime (he said!).

Wouldn't be the first wit controls/camera struggle… But what's more important to me… Is everything in the game getting resurrected except your hero who once dead is dead for good?

Avencast is alright, but there are plenty of better games out there. Only get it if you are out of CRPGs to play.

I don't remember if things respawn or not though. And really, I doubt I'll find out. While I was not bored while playing the game, I just could not help but feel that there are enough better games out there that I can spend my time with.
