My younger son makes electronic music, and he was digging this when I was playing it. It is more accessible than 'Dark Side of the Moog', for example.

Speaking of which … I still totally love that and have the first 10 or so albums of it …

OK, another astounding one man performance (except for the guitar-like instrument being a bit too loud and harsh again). Let me know if you're getting sick of these.

I love the stuff that everyone shares - anything to broaden my horizons (though my son said of HiddenX's stuff 'that sounds way too 70s … and not in a cool Disco sort of way' … )

Anyway, jazz fusion pioneer George Duke just died on the 5th at 67, he played with Zappa for most of the 70s after some seminal jazz-rock work, and played with everyone from Miles Davis to Michael Jackson and had some R&B hits as well as some cool jazz stuff.

His wife died last year and he has had health issues with cancer. I know he just came out of severe depression following her death, didn't know the cancer had come back.

His new album Dreamweaver came out 3 weeks ago and he was gettign ready to support it … sad.

And another I meant to post. I'm not making a political statement. Really? Really. Just think it's beautiful.

Classic … love that song, completely idiotic lyrics but infectious beat.

For Blondie I really prefer Rapture as my fave.

And did you say cowbell songs?!?

It does. Pity George Duke died. May he rest in piece.

This should have been #3163, more appropriate regarding the preceding posts, but apparently Thrasher could not wait bringing Jon again.

Saafi Brothers - Internal Code Error 930 (Album Mystic Cigarettes)

Infected Mushroom - Tasty Mushroom (Album B.P. Empire)

Celtic Cross - Hicksville (Album Hicksville)

I got me these albums when I was in love, the guy softened me…
But…
