I've been playing EQ since 1998 and I honestly have to say that, even after reading about it I have no idea what Landmark is supposed to be. Just leaves me scratching my head!

Well, from what I can tell Landmark is a companion piece to Everquest Next where players can stake claims on territory and build anything to their heart's content. There will be also be gathering. This is very similar to Minecraft and in some ways, more advanced.

Anybody who is not interested in Landmark can chose to ignore it and focus solely on Everquest Next.
