Nival - Departs US
May 17th, 2007, 15:45
FiringSquad is reporting that Nival's push into into the next-gen console market has so far failed and they have closed the US office, with owner Ener1 restructuring the company.
That puts a close to the second failed project for CEO Kevin Bachus, who was formerly the CEO for Infinium Labs and Phantom Game Service.
More information.

Why did a reputable and successful studio like Nival want to associate with a jagoff like that?

And why would a company like Nival that made it's reputation producing rock solid pc games think it had to "push" into the next-gen console market anyway? Just goes to show, console gaming is dying.
