Default disabling fog

October 27th, 2006, 20:52
hi all - i was wondering, does anyone know of an ini tweak to make it so that the weather never gets foggy? It really bugs me (expecially in the desert area) as the game looks crap and i can't see more than a few feet infront of myself, it ruins the atmosphere. Apart from this small niggle i'm loving the game so far. Anyone else find the fog annoying?

Actually seems the fog/weather in the Desert and North are tied to Bloom.
When I disable Post processing it disappeared, Yay!
Bad news is you get the flickering bug, which has been reported as Not fixed in Patch 2.

well ive noticed that when you restart the game the weather can randomly change, so you can keep on restarting until its not foggy anymore… hmmm not exactly an ideal solution. I can't believe they didn't fix that flickering bug in the patch!
