how to get into castle and go thru the pass in faring?

my reputation is 72, and i only have one quest left… sellin the skin to gnarr for 500, but he only offers me 500.

is there anything else i can do? i did all the quests in the city, killed the goblins in the ruins, the trolls as well.

i know theres a quest to go lurkers hunting with the hunters but for some reason i was never given the chance to do it.

Put the guard at the pass to sleep and walk past him As far as getting into the castle, never did faring quest series, was bored by that point.

You are spose to sell it to him for $400, your trying to impress him, then go back to the Hunter tell the truth, go hunt with him and by that time you will have about 85 Rep.
Your making it way to complicated.
