Default Sacred 2 - Goes Gold

September 18th, 2008, 17:51
Sacred 2 has just gone gold and has passed the "Games for Windows" check, which means from the top of my head it should at least work on Vista and XP, makes use of parental control and support a controller. For some additional information check out the official site.
Thanks Peter for informing us.
More information.

I find it interesting that in this game metal band Blind Guardian makes a cameo. As a long time metal fan, I can not welcome this enough. Among this and the upcoming Brutal Legend, it's going to be interesting times.

Okay, I think then it's time for Progressive Rock fans to get something like that, too.

If it fails, would it be like MS-DOS only? Like…

C:\>cd sacred2
C:\sacred2>start

Nah, it would just be a Windows game for XP and Vista, without an expensive "Games for Windows" logo.
