I don't see why they should do that personally (and it is mechanically complicated to achieve as well). I guess I'm not entitled enough to request something like that.

How is that being entitled? People who backed this covered their risk level, it should come with a few perk. It is not hard for them to release to their backers early, it just takes them some time by setting it up on steam. Other games have done it.

I think it would depend on how much you backed for. If you donated 100+, maybe that would have been a decent reward to download early. Otherwise, I think those of us that backed it during the initial kickstarter at the entry level tier essentially just pre-ordered it.

The excitement is starting to kill me though :)

No, I think that if you gave them any money 2.5 years ago for a game that wasn't made you should get some recognition from them. These guys lived off of all those pledges.

What I'm going to do on release is to create a character. Then I'll wait for reviews and bug reports before I continue playing.

Yea - I was able to view the thread last night; also got my key this morning. Last but least I think the person who complained about how KS backers are being treated is a bit overboard. I should note that you can only preload if you go with steam. If you go with gog you can't preload and they removed humble as an option (which make sense since humble is only providing a steam key and not drm free or drm free + steam key).

He seems like a guy with a sense of humour. Weekend in Vegas with twins just sounds like fun to me - you're reading too much into it.
