Dimensity?

So I just stumbled over a game called Dimensity on steam, which claims to be a RPG:

I have never heard of it before. Anybody know anything about it? From the feature list, it seems to go a bit in the strategy direction, like Spellforce, a game I enjoyed. Anyone tried it?

I haven't played it but developer is same as from Hazen (and it's a pretty bad hack'n'slash, check http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=881 )

Developer seems to be dead (as their various websites has not be updated from 2008)

So ... Steam is still selling it despite the developers possibly being out of business ?

Who gets the income of the Royalties, then ?

Or does Valve/Steam just keep them ?

This would be a very profitable business method : Do not pay the developers until they get bancrupt, but still sell the game and keep all of the income of the royalties for themselves.

This is something Lar from Larian Studios hinted to in the last "Status Update". It might be that there are profit-oriented publishers out there already doing it.

Tell me one publisher that is not profit oriented.

Oh, I meant not "naturally" profit-oriented, but profit-orientation that goes waaay beyond that.
