Good Old Games - Offline, Closed?

That's pretty cool. I've often thought of getting some old machines together to run the classics, but I just don't have the room.


I'm on the side that thinks this is a stunt. What exact costs do they have? Obviously some employee salaries as well as bandwidth, but they pay for the games on a royalty basis and the games have already been made (I would assume maybe they have some cost in reporgraming them to work on modern machines?)

Unfortunately we had to close the service due to business and technical reasons.

They had better come up with some extremely good "business and technical reasons" as to why they had to pull the plug with absolutely no advance warning or else I'll introduce them to Blitzkrieg v2.0.... :plotting: :slap: :biggrin:
