Playing this sub-classic turn based old school circa 1990-91 Interplay CRPG. The exceutive producer is Brian FArgo. The game is really interesting, very cool design even compared to now. A very literate RPG, not actiony, goes great with the Middle Earth lore.

Anyways, I have a basic question to annyone who has wever played it or who knows where to find this:
I cannot find out how to save a game. I have read the manual and looked through walkthroughs. Nada. Searched the UI and cannot find anything that will save the game.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? (As in Ferris)

From a walkthrough:
" - To continue your game later from where you left off, you'll have to
get your password. This can be accomplished by pushing L and R while out on
the field. Where you start when you pick up depends on where you left off…
you'll usually start back at the nearest town.
"

Edit: note I don't really know myself - I remember playing this for a couple of hours at a friends house back in the day, but I have no recollection on the save system.

I haven't tried this game yet, but according to the reference card I have:

In map movement mode:
Press "O" for options, then "S" for save ("L" for load, "Q" for quit, and "P" for pause)

Looks like it always saves over your previous save, i.e. you only have one save slot, so you need to be careful.

Hey Ghan, that sound slike the save when playing the console version.

Also, I found out the same info groundhog posted via the Abandonia forums, thanks GH.

The game is really cool, try it out if you have some time.
