Risen Help with Protection Money quest

So here it goes, I've completed just about all the other quests and I did find Danny earlier in the quest where I had to get the workers back to..well working. At least I'm pretty sure I did he was either the one above the arena, or the one in the swamps by a campfire.

Anyway, problem is that I have to collect money from him now and I can't find him anywhere anymore. He's no longer at the camp he was at since he has gone back to work...but where the hell does he work? Can't seem to find the place.

The quest map should show you his location.

He could have been killed, that happened to me once with Enrico. When I reported to Brogar, I had the option to say he was dead and it was OK.

he could found near the 1st bog from where Sam is sawing. on the another hand, if he is really dead then there will be a dialog option when you talk to Brogar.

This is what happened to me when Obel was killed by a 'bog body' and Brogar also wanted me to cough up Obel's share as well.
