Yeah I hated that also, and found it very annoying after a few hours.

I remember playing Dead State last month, and running across a bug that used the same slogan on a stairway, "You must gather your party before venturing forth!."

PoE has lots more portraits than any single IE game and they are all pretty awesome. I love it! :)

Can it be the 26th already?! Wish this had come out this week when I had time to play it :( Still looking forward to getting my hands on it, but I fear I won't be able to finish it till the summer.

They're not very consistent, it ranges from basically Disney art to extremely realistic, i also noticed that very few of them looks grim, like 1 female and maybe 2 males, rest is kind of the typical generic fantasy beauty.

Just so people know, that's not Pillars of Eternity portraits. That's a fan made package that include a lots of fanarts.

it was easy to believe it was the in-game portraits that was posted because i saw people asking afterwards if it was also possible to use fan custom portraits.

These are the new portraits that were added in BB v480 build if people were wondering about the game actual style (there was about 30 on top of these).

There will be about 70s (give or take a few) in the final game.

I just wished these Aumauas wouldn't have such ugly teeth. ^^
Once they open their mouths they look ugly as hell :p

Strange, 99% of those portraits are women ;)

I don't mind the typical perfect fantasy look. Reality is overrated anyways
