There's a lot of work being put into this project that will pretty much never happen in totality due to legal reasons. What do you guys think? Is he angling for a pitch to Raymond E Feist and <whatever company holds the rights>? Or is it more simply a case of a bored guy revisiting a love of his life?

Neal has stated/implied that he is learning the engine so that he can develop a full featured game and that it won't be Krondor (as much as I hope otherwise). I'm hoping for a spiritual successor. Unfortunately you can't expect rights holders to give for things like this.
