MMOs are a waste of lifeforce.

Imho it will go the way of Drakensang 3 and be a browser mmo.

There was yet again another huge sigh of disappointment when hearing the rumours of a NWN MMO from players and DM's on the NWN server I used to run.

NWN2's toolset was just not that friendly and the roadblocks it put up against MP unfortunately proved my point against haks in spades for the first one.

I think with the lessons learned the hard way (I told you so OE) an Obsidian made sequel would be probably be very good, so long as they get off their high horse on that camera angle.

As it is, there will likely never be a toolset RPG designer, with multiplayer and DM options ever again. Between justifying the budget and marketing (such as focus group research killing development on the DM portion) it would be an uphill battle.

At least NWN3 will bring MP back, something Bio didn't feel like doing with DA. Just wish it would have a good toolset and we could do our own PW again.

My old players are already talking of picking it up when it comes out.
