Seems a gameplay demo of Quantum Break was featured at gamescom 2014 for the first time.

Seems Remedy really like the time theme. And there's also an interview with Max Payne (Sam Lake, I mean, i always get them confused :D), about how the game and tv series will intertwine. I didn't know they were planning on offering choice&consequnce. Might be pretty cool if they do it right. It would be great if you could somehow cause a paradox by your choices. Maybe I'm just wishfully thinking.

I hadn't heard about this game until now. It looks interesting enough that I hope it doesn't remain an Xbox exclusive.

I'm just sad Remedy is jumping from game to game. They've put Alan Wake 2 on hold, and now they moved to Quantum Break. I appreciate that they're not miking their franchises, but I could use a little milking. :D

I didn't care for Alan Wake much, but I did like Max Payne 1&2 enough that I was disappointed when Remedy wasn't the developer for Max Payne 3.

Some amazing news today. Quantum Break, the next action game from Remedy, which was stated to be an xbox one exclusive, will be coming out on Windows 10, on the same day as the Xbox version. This is awesome news, at least for me, since this was the only ready I'd even think about owning an Xbox One. And now I don't have to. :D

http://www.pcgamer.com/quantum-break-system-requirements-out-windows-10-required/

The game lists windows10 as minimum spec.
I like that, but it ain't RPG so probably won't buy it ever.

They updated the system requirements.

It seems the initial recommended settings was for ultra settings.

I don't mind the Win10 requirement. I'm already running Win10.
What I won't like is that they'll probably only sell it on the Windows 10 Store, and not on Steam (at least probably not close to release).
Since they're saying Quantum break requires DX12, which is only on Windows 10, is there precedent for Steam games that are only runnable on some versions of windows?

Windows 10 Store
There is absolutely no way I'm gonna ever use that idiocy.

Windows is supposed to be PC operating system.
Phonesyle rotten ideas should remain on phones.

In cases where I won't be able to play a game because it's win10 store exclusive where my foot won't step, they can stuff that game up their arse. I have more than enough great games available on Steam and GOG, when needed also uPlay and Origin.

Doublepost but I have to.
According to local IT online magazine, social networks are full of rabid consolegamers raging because Quantum Break is also coming on PC. Can't verify that because I'm not on social networks, seems it was a good choice if this is true…

Still my reaction is WTF.
I don't remember PC audience ever go loco when games from PC got also released on consoles.

EDIT:
Checked quite a few usual sites, only Eurogamer and Softpedia have something about it (tweets between "fans" and someone from M$):
