Can't you see though that labeling all DLC as _____ is the same as saying all games are ______ or all expansion packs are _______ ?

There is nothing about DLC that is universal, including size and value. Judging it universally is silly.

I tend to agree, although I can still sympathize with the gamers who are tired of being bombarded by it lately.

Nobody has to spend their money on DLC without knowing about it first, and then complain about it. It's simple enough to wait for some feedback from sources you trust before making a decision whether or not to buy.
