I solved one riddle then somehow jumped to the end since I got the reference. I think I did 1, skipped 2 and 3 and finished it somehow.

I think I had this, too. But I don't remember anymore correctly, because all I wanted to do was finish that damn riddle.

I think you have to read the inscriptions, and that's sufficient as trigger to make the last step work.
