Name that game!

I love these games!
First up:

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth
That study gave it away. For some reason that study is hardcoded into my memory. I think it might of been really hard to get to or figure out the puzzle.
Love me some H.P. Lovecraft :)

Next:
Granted this one is a little too easy considering what I always talk about:

Hey Sir Markus - could you please, as asked before, just do one at a time ... gets awful confusing otherwise.

Correct. Microsoft Close Combat 2: A Bridge Too Far.

It had what's IMO still the best unit AI I've come across in any game -- you got individual soldiers actively providing covering fire, looking for cover, or getting pinned down, demoralized, or even broken if things went badly. A single sniper could effectively pin down an entire squad. Some of those fights were real bastards!

Not sure, but it could be Dragon Wars

Close, but I believe it's Centauri Alliance. Too many Sci-Fi stats for it to be Dragon Wars.

Still no takers on mine? I know the pics are in german, but it's not too hard if you look at my name.

Looks like the first Warhammer game before Dark Omen. Shadow of the Horned Rat - or something.

Shadow of the horned rat :) Had some frustrating times with that game.

Here's another:
One I still replay even after all these years.

@Masterlich You are correct sir!

Another favorite of mine, but way too easy for this crowd.

That would be Evil Islands :)

Correct. On JDR's earlier double whammy I was going to call this game--and of course would have been completely wrong--which those visuals strongly reminded me of:

@magerette Vampire the Masquarade: Redemption. I just replayed part of that game a few months ago and even tried to get some of the mods for it to work. Definatly a fun game, though got a mixed reaction from people.

I need to replay that as well ... too many great games, too little time ...

Correct, skav--I enjoyed that game a lot even though I hate vampires like I love zombies--but it was excellent, especially the voice acting for the main character--sort of a vampire paladin. :)

Here's another one of my all time favorites:

Here! Here!

Alpha Centauri?

One of the faction leaders had my favorite name from a game -- Deirdre Skye. I'm using the "Skye" surname and variations of it for lots of my player characters in some RPGs.
