An English PC retail version of Larian's Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga is available in the UK as of today. Since mail order is strong in the UK it should be relatively easy to get your hands on a retail version now, if you still prefer boxed to digital.
Thanks, Dark Savant!
More information.

About frickin' time.
Digital distribution is OK… but being a proud old-schooler, I love the smell of a freshly opened gamebox in the morning.

Thanks for posting his kind of news. Finding boxed versions of games is getting harder and harder, so news like this is very helpful. :)

Are printed manuals in English included?

Got the retail UK version in the mail the day before yesterday. No printed manual whatsoever is included. Actually not a single sheet of paper inside the box, not even a printed ad. It's just the DVD and that's it.
What's funny is that on the back of the box it says "Internet connection required for product activation".
It makes me wonder if these boxes or at least the printed covers have been collecting dust in a warehouse somewhere all along because there is no serial key that needs to be entered nor anything else that would resemble an activation process. In fact it looks like this version comes with the official SecuROM removal patch applied. You also don't need to have the disk in the drive.
