Looks good but the combat sounds sort of Mortal Combatty - Street Figtherry, which is a concern for this twixt challenged gamer.

Not counting Risen 2 that I am currently playing, the last two RPGs I've played were Kickstarter RPGs, and the two before that were Might and Magic 7 & 8. So it will be fun not only playing a brand spanking new RPG but playing a traditionally financed RPG. (The last one being the hybrid Dishonored about 7 games ago)

@dajjer - I'm also a bit worried about combat - I'm just not very dextrous and the Witcher 2 was about the most I could handle with combat combos etc. If success depends on your ability to do these things, then I'm out. I like strategic combat, but that should not depends on my (poorly coordinated) player dexterity.

I'd like to play a demo before I decide - any chance they'll release one?

Just some more details: Demonicon is a Steamworks game, which means that the retail version also requires Steam for activation.

Regarding a demo, I highly doubt there will be one, but I did notice a 'Demonicon Demo' on Steam database few weeks ago but it dissapeared (maybe a preview demo rather than an actual demo).

It's in my Games Com review post here somewhere.

My problem was that nowadays PC games are presented on the Games Com almost exclusively with console controllers - and I have next to no experience with these controllers at all ! Means that it was almost unplayable for me.

Additionally, I already knew most of the demo from the RPC.
