Planescape Torment

I stumbled upon this game in a pawn shop for $1.50 a few years ago, and bought it simply because of the fact that Black Isle created it.

From the moment I first played it, I fell in love, and immediately felt a connection to Deionarra, even though I knew nothing about her; I actually pledged to myself that I would find out how we were connected. I love strong stories, and this game is the best I have come across in that respect, which is one of the many reasons why I love it so. Even thinking back on it now provokes strong emotions and makes me feel those connections again. I want to go back and replay this at some point, but like a lot of people here, I have a fear that it will not live up to my first experience.

It probably will if the last time you played it was long ago.
It's definitely one of those games that I think you appreciate more the 2nd time.
