Today's featured article: Ultima Underworld

I saw that this morning and was quite impressed. It even inspired me to finally install the copy I got from GOG several months ago.

I once tried to play it, but I found the controls kind of "clunky". Haven't tried it since then.

When Ultima Underworld was not made for the Amiga, I knew an era was over and a new one was beginning.
Too bad Doom clones were easier to make and more profitable than UU clones, though.

I learned how to play Underworld before WASD even existed as the standard norm for fps controls - so much so it's almost second nature for me. It's not hard to learn.

Maybe if the masses had demanded more UU clones, we'd get them instead Petrus. ;)

UU3 for Kickstarter project! :D (I know MCA has been quoted as saying this is a game he'd love to work on...)
