Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny Remake - Released

I don't think we're so much pro-Euro as we're simply European ;)

And even many of us who aren't appreciate the different sensibilities represented in many games from Europe - Gothic, Witcher, etc

This site is Pro Euro, even if the game is crap.

For the record I do like the Gothic games. two worlds 1 and 2, The original Arkania games(which these guys butchered it seems), the drakensang games(even if they are very similar to NWN), Spent a ton of time on Spellforce 1 and 2. I backed LoD on kickstarter. It's weird it's like I like RPG's….strange that. I don't give them a free pass because they were made in europe…
Seeing your list you are probably an anti Euro cow boy.

- Legend of Grimrock, best RPG of its release year.
- The Witcher 1, best RPG of its release year.
- King's Bounty The Legend, half RPG but one of the best tactical RPG ever released and much better version than original.
- The Witcher 2, good stuff, at least much better that ton of crap out there.
- Divine Divinity: With first 2/3 just among the best RPG stuff if you can bear the fights (play a magic user).
- Divinity 2 Saga: Great game, one of the rare of its time showing skills in exploration design.
- Risen 1&2: Good stuff, not at reach of Gothic 1&2+NOTR but worthy stuff (hahem I haven't yet played the 2, yeah I'm anti Euro too).
- EYE: Divine Cybermancy, flawed, but deliciously weird, special gameplay, and will mark the mind of any player that succeed play it and go above the flaws.
- Stalker series: Overall much better than similar US equivalent in area of RPG shooters.
- Venetica: Very flawed games but many good gameplay elements and unique stuff.
- Some I haven't played myself but I don't try be an educated specialist RPG player like you seem aspire to: Dark Messiah of M&M, Silent Storm series, Space Ranger series, Mount & Blade series (well aren't Turkish in CEE? or going to?),
- And more.

If there's one significant event those last ten years in PC RPG it's the grow of Europe production.

Mmm do you mean you are in fact not an anti-euro cow-kid but an infamous nonobjective pro-euro socialist, to have play them all that's the only explanation I can see. And frankly I'm quite out of patience with that population of CRPG gamers throwing underground anti campaigns against any non Euro release showing any little weakness. :) Choose your camp. ;)

And "European" and "pro-Euro" are two completely different things. ;)

To me, they certainly are.

I don't automatically appreciate "European" things because I'm from Europe.

I know you're quite the German patriot, though, but that's you ;)

Oddly, I haven't noticed this site is pro-euro. Maybe I'm blind.
Hell, name me one european MMO covered extensively by this site like Neverwinter or Diablo3 are.

I have Columbian, British, Polish and Italian friends who admire the German way of life. Some of them are already living in Germany.

One Italian man and one Columbian woman have even married cousins of mine.
Not so bad here. :)

Nationalist bullshit like that is very destructive ... just look at the xenophobic slant of many (including here) from the USA.

All of them came for work or to study in Germany made some friends and stayed, because they like the people, work and country (or their loved ones :) ).

Living in Germany is really easy if

a) you have a good education (and you can speak German),
b) you make some friends / good acquaintances,
c) you get a job,
d) you are good at your job.

English is the first foreign language we Germans have to learn. Most people under the age 50 can speak it.

French is not so common, only 20% of all Germans can speak it and mostly less good than English.

Sorry for going Off-Topic, but I always liked about the Watch that we are a site with opinions out of the whole world (with internet connection at least) and not
pro Euro, pro US, Pro English, pro German ... etc.

Guys, could you take this Pro-European/Not Pro-European/European vs. Non-European/Whatever discussion to the Off-Topic or, better yet, the Politics and Religion section. OK? Thank you.

Woo if you have started the hunt of out of topics, good luck.

I suggest a better approach, that the mods should adapt threads titles to current subject of last 3 posts, I bet it will be more efficient and a lot less work.

But ok I quote one more guy that can't bear Germany.
